Our Training Center

This is our training center

Halco's Training Center partners with Monroe Community College (MCC) to offer in-depth training for other professionals, students, unemployed workers, and for Halco employees. The core classes offered have been in the fundamental trades of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and sheet metal, culminating in preparation for the North American Technician Excellence (NATE) certification or certification as a Journeyman Electrician or Plumber. Beginning in 2009, the Center has also begun offering innovative classes on home energy performance and the building envelope working with such organizations as the Building Performance Institute (BPI) and Comfort Institute. The first of these Energy Efficiency Specialist classes is scheduled to start in early 2010.
